ZABUMBA brings the hilarious and happy dance parties of the Brazilian Forró to Europe! The Forró is pure dance music from the Northeast of Brazil: sentimental, burning, erotic and full of desire. The singer Miniká Demirdjian was born in São Paulo/Brazil, where she was living and celebrating the Forró for many years. She manages easily to transfer the hilarity and joy of the famous Forró parties to the public. With her former band “Fuzuê“ she played on festivals all over Europe – now she conquers the hearts of all Brazilian music lovers and dance enthusiasts with her new formation „Zabumba“. Together with accordion player Ivan Greg Santos Pereira, guitarist and cavaquinho player Henk Janssen, bass player Tessa Cooke and both percussionists Matthias Haffner and Marco Santos, a performance of Zabumba gets a real „Forrozão“, a big party!
